Faye Lanier Jones, age 77, died on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Lower Cape Fear Life Care in Wilmington. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bessie Lanier; sister, Marie Lanier; and brother Harold Lanier.
Faye is survived by her daughters, Sandra Jones of the home, Lisa Jones Potter and husband Rob of Southport; sister, Jackie Sloan and husband Terry of Chinquapin; brothers, Hilton Lanier and wife Pauline of Chinquapin, Gerald Lanier and wife Sue of Chinquapin, Delwood Lanier and wife Pat of Pink Hill, Carlton Lanier and wife Marissa of Beulaville; two grandsons, Maddox Potter, Hudson Potter; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and great nephews.
