Serenity Funeral Home offers a variety of services to meet your family’s wishes. Listed below are services that are typically chosen. If you have questions about these services or have requests for additional services, please call or stop by to talk with one of our funeral directors.

Night Visitation with Funeral the Following Day

A time of visitation is held at night typically beginning at 7:00 PM. This time allows friends and loved ones a time to pay their respects and to visit with family members. The next day a funeral service will be held either in the morning or afternoon. The congregation will then be led in a procession to the cemetery for the burial ceremony.

Night Funeral followed by Visitation with Graveside Service the Following Day

A funeral service is held at night typically beginning at 7:00 PM. At the conclusion of the funeral, a time of visitation is held to allow friends and loved ones a time to pay their respects and to visit with family members. The next day, everyone gathers at the cemetery for a graveside service.

Visitation, Funeral, and Burial the Same Day

With this service a time of visitation is held typically a hour prior to the funeral service. At the conclusion of the funeral, the congregation will then be led in a procession to the cemetery for the burial ceremony.

Graveside Service

This service is held at the cemetery. Friends and loved ones gather at the cemetery for the graveside service.

Memorial Service

A memorial service is held to commemorate your loved one’s life. This service is typically chosen when a family chooses cremation.

Direct Cremation

This option is chosen when a family wishes to have their loved one cremated with no memorial service.

Disinterment/Reinterment

Sometimes it becomes necessary or desired to move a loved one to a different cemetery. Please contact us for additional information and pricing for this service.
