He is survived by his wife, Salud Tadeo; daughter, Mayra Tadeo; sons, Jose Tadeo, Martin Tadeo, Victor Tadeo; sisters, Guadalupe Anleu, Leonides Del Angel, Victoria Sanchez, and seven grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Dail of Beulaville; daughter, Lisa Wilson of Beulaville; sons, Randy Murphy of Richlands, Richard Murphy of Beulaville; sister, Josephine McGee of Comfort; step-son, Randie Dail; brother Joseph Randall Taylor of Beulaville; twenty grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren.

Robert ‘Bob’ Worth Brown, aged 95, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, in Abingdon, VA. Born in Johnston County, NC, on September 27, 1928, Bob led a life filled with devotion, service, and family. He now stands in the presence of Jesus.

Bob’s life was a testament to his roots, values, and unwavering faith. His early days were spent in Southport, NC, where his father was a devoted Southern Baptist Pastor. The values instilled in him during those formative years became the foundation of his life.

When his family relocated to Beulaville, NC, he crossed paths with the love of his life, Jane Bostic. Their story spanned 72 years, a testament to their enduring love and partnership. Together, they celebrated a life filled with family, friends, numerous dogs, and an unwavering commitment to Jesus.

As a young man, Bob served in the Navy during the Korean War. After returning to civilian life, he dedicated himself to serving in various capacities in each church he was a part of. In his retirement, Bob and his wife Jane embarked on a journey across the country in their RV, where they shared God's word with fellow travelers and campers through the organization "Campers on Mission."

Bob leaves behind his loving wife, Jane Bostic Brown; his daughters, Barbara Childs (Lee) and Laura Brown; his grandchildren, Laura McAliley (Peyton) and Kathy Koserski (Chris); and his great-grandchildren, Katy McAliley, Ellie Koserski, Nian Koserski, and Lily Koserski.

The youngest of seven children, he is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Lewis Brown, mother Eva May Williams Brown, and siblings, Arthur Brown, Edith Dail, Myrtle Watson, Harvey Brown, Lula McKeithan, and Martha Gray Willis.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 4, at noon at Bostic-Sandlin Cemetery on Corn Mill Road in Beulaville, NC. In lieu of flowers, please consider giving to Beulaville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 394, Beulaville, NC 28518.

Ray E. Hunter, age 93, died Thursday, October 5, 2023, in ECU Health Duplin Hospital.  He is preceded in death his wife Evelyn B. Hunter and grandson David Allen Whaley.

Mr. Hunter is survived by his daughters, Sherry Whaley and husband James of Richlands, Bonita Fountain and husband Barry of Chinquapin; grandchildren, Chad Whaley and wife Kim, Brian Fountain and wife Ashley, Bailey Manning and husband Justin; and great grandchildren, Landon Fountain, Grayson Manning, Chloe Whaley and Colten Whaley.

Linda Faye Ervin, age 72, died on Monday, October 2, 2023 at the Wallace Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She is preceded in death by her husband John Ervin and brothers, Earl Norris, Haywood Norris and Leroy Norris.

Mrs. Ervin is survived by her sons, J. J. Ervin of Pollocksville; Josh Sanderson of Beulaville; sisters, Barbara Bradshaw of Rose Hill, Edrena Burkhead of IN; brother Donald Norris of Wallace; and four grandchildren.
