John Leslie Ervin, age 61, died Thursday, July 6, 2017 in Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Mr. Ervin is survived by his wife, Linda Faye Ervin of Wallace; daughter Amanda Bloomer, of Lincolnton; two sons, John Ervin, Jr. of Pollocksville, Josh Sanderson of Beulaville; and five grandchildren.

Bennie Whaley, age 86, died Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville.
Mr. Whaley is survived by his daughter, Cheryl W. Jones of Beulaville; two sons, Michael W. Whaley of Beulaville, and B. Steven Whaley of Columbia, SC; two sisters, Lessie Brown of Beulaville, and Pearline Eury of Monroe; brother Frank Whaley of Kenansville; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Juanita Edwards, 88, of Beulaville died June 6, 2017, at Autumn Village. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at Serenity Funeral Home in Beulaville. The family will receive friends after the service.
Survivors include brothers James Roland Edwards and wife Mary and Bronnie Avon Jones and wife Jerry Ann of Beulaville, and several nieces and nephews.

Atherton and husband Jim of Roswell, GA, Debbie Martin and husband Jeff of Kinston; son, Jeff Merritt of Greenville; sister, Patsy Lanier and husband Worth of Beulaville; brother, Roy McDowell of Wilmington; and five grandchildren.
