David Glen Trent, age 71, died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at home. Mr. Trent was a Air Force Veteran. He served as a police officer for over 40 years with departments in Indiana, Beulaville, and Kenansville.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Irene Edwards Trent of Richlands; four daughters, Darene Paul of IN, Dawna Keisler, IN, Mary Wellman of FL, Faith Weaks of Richlands; son, Christopher Trent of Richlands; sister, Rosemary of CA; brothers, Charles Trent of WA, Jim Trent of IN, Shawn Trent of IN; 11 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.

Billy Dean Sanderson, age 70, died Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at UNC Cancer Center in Chapel Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents Roscoe and Viola Sanderson. Mr. Sanderson was an employee of DuPont for 36 years.

Mr. Sanderson is survived by his wife Sharon Ormond Sanderson of Kinston, daughters Susan Sanderson of Warsaw and Teresa Davis of Rose Hill, sister Judy Norris of Beulaville, granddaughter Christa Parker and great grandchild Ryder Rowan.
